Corporate instruction is usually less intensive per man, as time has to be split between the team. Usually we organise one or two team training days (I can provide extra instructors if needed) where we can cover the basics and iron out any major technical flaws. The main point of these days is to ensure every member of the team is safe, manages to hit some birds and enjoy their time in the field.

The private client programme is a fully tailored instructional package which, as it is 1-1 can be far more in depth than working with a group. This is where I can really have time to understand the clients strengths/weaknesses and implement a long term training plan to ensure the client progresses at the maximum rate.

 The majority of my clients are experienced, however I am open to working with beginners/novices on application. All on peg work I do has to be preceded by time under towers working on clays, this is for me to ensure I am happy from a safety perspective and to cover the groundwork needed for the day. If I don’t believe the client is ready/safe for a day in the field, this will be highlighted and explained at this point.

Should I have any safety concerns, any future on peg work already booked will be refunded in full.

Pre season training is done entirely on clays, working primarily under tower targets of varying heights, and goes and speeds. During this time technique if fine tuned and adapted as the shooter progresses, and “homework” will be set for the client to be able to take away and practice in their own time to maximise productivity.

It is always worth enquiring short notice if you have specific needs, however the majority of my days are booked many months ahead of time, so to ensure you have access to the days you would like- earlier is always better!

On peg coaching involves myself working with the shooter before, during and after the drives, explaining not only where most missed shots are going, but most importantly why. This is the culmination of technical work done previously on clays, so the client will not be overloaded with information, just reminded of basic points previously covered to help them dial in and make the most of their day.

 I do a limited number of international trips a year to fit in around existing client and business commitments.

 I can assist with recommending trusted agents for those with little experience in booking shooting, recommend estates suitable for the experience level of the team of guns, and arrange ammunition suitable for the chosen estate.

If requested I can stay with the team of guns for the evening before/after the shoot, or simply meet on the day before it for training or the days game shooting itself. This is very much based around each clients requests and within reason, most requests can be catered for. 

The key aim is to ensure the whole team have a safe, successful days shooting.

The primary venue I use for training is Grimsthorpe EstateShooting Ground in Lincolnshire, which is possible to arrange for private hire should the team wish a higher level of privacy, but there are various training facilities across the U.K. we can utilise depending on where the teams will be shooting and what they require.
